Really like the portability and practicality of the Ecogenix charger. I purchased it mainly for my Tesla Model Y to use during outdoor camping and travels, so portability is crucial for me, and this charger completely meets my needs. When I received it, I tested it at home, and it worked perfectly fine. All you just need to plug it in, and the car started charging, which is very convenient. The ev charger's appearance is pleasing and gives a sense of durability and the cable material looks great as well.

Additionally, the 25ft cable length gives me more flexibility and I don't need a large parking space. I previously had a charger with a very short cable, and I had to move the car every time to connect to a power source. Now, this charger perfectly solves that problem.

I am also very satisfied with its charging speed. I bought it mainly for travel backup at first, but now I find that it can provide me with enough power to charge my Tesla at home overnight (about one hour can provide 8-10miles!), I carry it almost everywhere now, and it is very portable. There is a corresponding ecognix bag and you only need to put it in the trunk!

Pros: Durable, Easy to use, fast charging speed

Cons: So far, I haven't encountered any issues. If there are any, I will update later.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this ev charger as my Tesla charger. If possible, I would give it a six-star rating!

I can't suggest another one. This Ecogenix charger works exceptionally well, and I am genuinely pleased with this purchase. Here is my real experience, and hopefully, it can be informative.

Impressive charging speed and flawless performance. no interruption in the charging process during charging sessions. I can plug it in at night and not worry about a thing. Initially, I was a bit concerned about checking for abnormalities, but after several charging, it works perfectly. The charging speed is approximately 25% faster than my previous charger. I am highly satisfied with it, as one night's charging time is sufficient for my work commute the next day.

Sturdy appearance with high-quality material, I noticed its robust build and premium materials. It seems suitable for any weather condition, and I have no safety concerns whatsoever.
love that the 25 ft cable which is very long, so doesn’t really matter where I park in the garage ,specially charging at outdoors, Exactly what I needed! the lcd screen is big eough so I can see all indexes without effort and it can delay charging time to save money.

Bought this for my Tesla model y. It works better than expected. It charges faster than the estimations. It comes with the adaptor for Tesla and the wall adaptor for a 110v or 220v. I use it in a regular 110v outlet. I love that it mounts easily to the wall with its own storage mount. I park my car right outside the garage and run the cord under the garage door. So far the cord has been able to handle the pressure from the garage door without any problems!!!

The Best Level 2 EV charger--Perfect works Tesla and Chevrolet Volt

This charger works as intended. It does exactly what it is advertised to do and the packaging was really nice.
When I first purchased my EV I didn't want to install a charger and think the included charging would fit for me. My commute is not very long, typically under 30 miles. I plugged my charger into my garage outlet which was a dedicated 20Amp circuit. It worked well without blowing the fuse. However, the 110 charger is slow (typically providing about 4-5 miles of charge per hour), and it took nearly 2 days to charge the car to 80%. So I decided I needed something a little bit faster went with the Ecogniex level 2 ev charger.
I did a lot of research before choosing the Ecogniex ev charger features, warranty and price were all considered. I installed a 40Amp breaker and the plug is NEMA 14-50 which supports to 32A charging You really don't need to go with the hard wired 48Amp / 40 Amp charging circuit, because the 32 Amp can charge just about any vehicle from 5% to 80% in about 6 to 8 hours depending on battery size. And 32A portable charger is good for car battery and easy to carry. If you don't have enough service, then go with a 30 Amp breaker (ecogenix does a great job, you can adjust 8, 10, 13, 16, 20, 24, 32A,), which will still charge the vehicle overnight at about 3.84 -5.8 kW per hour. And it is easy to set up and use. And the timing function of ecogenix is also very helpful. I will arrange the charging time to avoid peak periods. The voltage is stable and I can save some money every time. I set it up to charge at 9PM, which is off peak. I can plug in the car anytime and it will wait till 9PM. BTW, you should not regularly charge to full capacity as this can damage the battery life. Charging to 100% is only recommended when planning a long trip. Similarly, you should not let the battery drop below 10% before charging.
The 25-ft cable length is very practical and makes it highly portable. The cable material seems look very sturdy. And its screen display is also very clear, you can effortlessly see the charging status and indicators. Furthermore, it has complete certification. I never worry about safety issues. Its adaptability is excellent. The adaptability is solid, and the design is impressive. I drive a Tesla, and with the adapter installed, it works seamlessly. When I removed the J1772 to Tesla adapter, my neighbor was able to use it for his 2017 Chevrolet Volt (using the J1772 port) without any problems. After giving it a try, he's now eager to get one for himself too.
Very satisfied with this ev charger so far, and I will keep updating if there is any new experience.
